Our Commitment
KNOT Delivery Ltd. is committed to making its digital service accessible to people with disabilities, in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law 5758-1998 and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations 5773-2013.
Conformance Standard
The KNOT website and mobile app target conformance with Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.0 Level AA. Key adaptations include:
- Semantic HTML and ARIA landmarks for screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack)
- Full keyboard navigation; visible focus indicators
- Color contrast ratios of at least 4.5:1 for text and 3:1 for UI controls
- Resizable text up to 200% without loss of content
- Alt text for non-decorative images
- Captions and transcripts for any audio/video where applicable
- Form validation messages associated with their controls
- RTL support for Hebrew and Arabic
- Skip-to-content link on every page
- Respects user prefers-reduced-motion and prefers-color-scheme
Known Limitations
Some interactive map elements (OpenStreetMap tiles) may have partial accessibility. We provide a non-map list view of order details and tracking for users relying on assistive technology.
